She specialized in High Fashion Design and Pattern Making at the Javier Barroeta School of Haute Couture.


Professional Experience

Betitxe Saitua holds a degree in Fine Arts from EHU-UPV (Leioa) and in Art History from UNED, later completing a Master's in Education at the Alfonso X el Sabio University (Madrid).

She specialized in High Fashion Design and Pattern Making at the Javier Barroeta Haute Couture School (Bilbao) and has participated in various training programs at Central Saint Martins in London.

She has taught for ten years in the education and cultural action department of the Bilbao Fine Arts Museum and has worked as an art guide at the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao.

Currently, she is a costume designer for theater, with her recent works including the productions of Pabellón 6 Ay Carmela! and Ubu Rey de las Finanzas directed by Ramón Barea, and the Teatro Arriaga production of Madre Coraje/Ama Kuraia directed by Maria Goiricelaya.
