Professional Experience
Sandra Tejero Ruiz is an actress, theatre creator, and educator who holds a degree in Higher Artistic Studies in Dramatic Art (specializing in Acting) from Dantzerti – ESADD (Basque Country). She has worked with companies such as Pabellón 6, Gazte Konpainia, Atx Teatroa, and Euri Artean, engaging in both repertory productions and processes of collective creation, as well as her own projects—including *Miricol*, a piece of physical theatre. Her work has garnered recognition at national and international festivals; notably, she won the Best Actress Award at the 16th Vilnius International Forum (Lithuania) for the play *Pabellón del Olvido*. In the audiovisual realm, she has appeared in short films such as *Pisu Ederra 42M2* (winner of the 2nd Prize at ZINEBI Express 2025), *Higiene Arauak*, *Normala*, and *El Reencuentro*, and has starred in music videos for bands like Niña Coyote eta Chico Tornado and Gatibu. Since 2008, she has balanced her artistic career with teaching, offering instruction in acting, character creation, improvisation, text analysis, physical expression, and dramatic play across various educational and cultural settings. She is currently furthering her education by pursuing a Master’s degree in Advanced Theatre Studies at UNIR, reaffirming her commitment to research, creative practice, and theatre pedagogy.
