This year we had as guests the director Salvador Calvo and the cinematographer Teresa Medina
Last Thursday, December 15 and Friday, December 16, the ECPV 2022 masterclass took place in the dome room of the Campos Elíseos Theater in Bilbao.
For this edition we had the honor of having two great filmmakers. On the one hand, on Thursday Salvador Calvo was with us, the director of “ Adú ”, a film that won him the Goya for best director. During the masterclass, Salvador Calvo told us about his creative process, from the dossier to the shooting.
On the other hand, on Friday we were with the cinematographer and president of AEC , Teresa Medina , who took the picture of “ Things I never told you ” by director Isabel Coixet . Teresa Medina shared with all of us her experience working in the United States and her vision of the film industry from the point of view of someone who has worked both inside and outside the country.
As a final conclusion, both Salvador Calvo and Teresa Medina emphasized the good moment in which the film industry finds itself due to the large number of productions that are being made. In addition, during both masterclasses the imminent tax deductions for Bizkaia were mentioned, which will facilitate the arrival of numerous productions.
