This past Monday, January 29, David Pedrosa Morales and Diego H. Kararyniuk Di Costanzo, directors of the ECPV-Film School of the Basque Country, were with colleagues from the Bilbao Bizkaia Film Commission
Like every year, the Bilbao Bizkaia Film Commission presents to the Provincial Council of Bizkaia the figures and data of the filming that has taken place with its productions in Bizkaia throughout the past year.
The presentation was carried out by the Councilor for Economic Development, Commerce, Tourism and Employment of the Bilbao City Council, Xabier Ochandiano and the Provincial Deputy for Economic Promotion, Ainara Basurko, who described as excellent the figures of productions carried out in Bilbao in general throughout the Bizkaí territory, which has an impact on an economic development never seen until now and also on a great promotion as a tourist showcase for Bilbao and Bizkaia.
These are some of the data:
151 productions shot in 2023, including 33 short films, 21 documentaries, 31 television programs, 8 video clips, 2 web series, 33 advertising spots and 4 photo sessions. In addition to 12 feature films and 7 series.
