The ICOFF Gasteiz short film festival reaches its second edition with the idea of becoming the benchmark for short films in Vitoria - Gasteiz and being one of the national benchmarks. In this sense, the festival has selected short films with an unprecedented technical, artistic and narrative quality. This 2023 will compete for the IRRITS award by Maider Oleaga produced by Ander Barinaga-Rementeria and Ander Sagardoy and which is in the prestigious Kimuak catalog, CUERDAS by Estibaliz Urresola Solaguren and produced by the same director also in the Kimuak catalog and was also part of the programming of the 61 Critics' Week of the Cannes Film Festival. The work has won the Le Rails d'or award and was nominated for a Goya award. ALEGRÍAS RIOJANAS by Velasco Broca produced by Eduardo Carneros and distributed by Marvin & Wayne.
And it is that among these short films there are departments led by ECPV alumni as well as short films produced by the ECPV such as Ni a sol ni a sombra by Talia Hernando, Lanbroa by alumni Aitzol Saratxaga, Influencer by the director Nerea Torrijos or participation of professors such as in Superfucked by Gastón Hag.
A 2023 full of selections and picking up what was sown in previous years.
