Soledad Santelices is a prominent Chilean-Ecuadorian film producer and director with an international career spanning Latin America and Europe. She is a founding partner of INCUBADORA, a platform dedicated to supporting and developing film projects in the region.
Her extensive experience in the film industry led her to create key initiatives, such as the Quito International Film Festival, an event that promotes independent cinema in Ecuador and provides a space for reflection on contemporary narratives. Additionally, she founded the LADAE Audiovisual Development Lab, which has become a benchmark for supporting emerging filmmakers in the region.
Throughout her career, Soledad has advised and collaborated with over 30 film projects, helping them secure funding and international distribution. She has obtained grants and awards from prestigious institutions such as Sundance, Bertha Fund, and Ibermedia, reflecting her ability to develop projects that resonate on the global stage.
