David Caíña's project "Pretérito imperfecto" selected in Ventana Sur
A few days ago the names of the 6 finalist projects for the Ventana Sur festival script contest were announced. More than 300 projects have been submitted to this competition. That is why we are proud to announce that the ECPV talent surprises us again, since one of the projects that have been finalists is “Pretérito imperfecto” by our script tutor, David Caíña, which has already received a creation grant of theatrical script in 2017 and another production aid in 2018 and which was also named one of the 10 best works that had passed through Bilbao in 2019. On the other hand, in 2023 it was selected for the XI film script laboratories, specialty comedy , from the SGAE Foundation.
Among other finalists, it is worth highlighting the presence of Demián Rugna, director of “When Darkness Stalks” which won the award for best feature film in Sitges this year.
