Two shorts co-produced by the ECPV will compete to enter the Goya 2021.
One of the two short films is “ Ferrotipos ”, directed by Nüll García and starring Susana Abaitua , Adolfo Fernández and Alba Flores . Another of the short films that will compete to enter the Goya is “ The end of all things ”, directed by Norma Vila and starring Paola Bontempi and Lucía Pollán . Both shorts are up for potential Academy Award nominations this year.
The path of these two titans is full of successes, " The end of all things " is a hit on the table by director Norma Vila , who after " Jules D ", her first short film with which she garnered a hundred selections, brings a fantastic capable of keeping all viewers on edge. “ Ferrotipos ”, the directorial debut of actress Nüll García, has just begun its distribution and is marking a before and after wherever they have seen it. Magnificently directed and perfectly billed, this short film brings reality to the big screen.
With this situation, the Basque Country Film School confirms its commitment to cinema in all its formats, also reaffirming the tendency of the school to bet on quality products and helping young promises to raise projects to achieve success .
Last but not least, we echo the success of “ Un coche cualquiera ” by David Pérez Sañudo , which included teachers and students from the ECPV and who will also be among the candidates for the GOYA selection. Undoubtedly a great achievement for our Film Directing tutor who is in the process of releasing his first feature film while filming the first serious fiction bet of the EITB chain starring Itziar Ituño , protagonist of the acclaimed series produced by Netflix , La casa de paper .
