We review the 2023/2024 academic year.
Looking back, specifically to October 1, 2023, and taking a quick look at the ECPV school year, if we had to define this 2023/2024 academic year with just one word, it would be CHANGE. And this year, the ECPV has changed its facilities, moving from its old location on Luzarra Street to the Miribilla neighborhood, a place that meets the needs of students and the film industry, a meeting and thinking place where we can learn and debate not only cinematographic issues but also cultural and philosophical ones.
In addition, during this year new teachers have passed through our classrooms, who have nourished the students with new visions, concepts, theories, emotions and who have ultimately contributed another way of thinking, strengthening the one already established.
On the other hand, 2024 will also be remembered for one of the milestones for which the ECPV can be proud of the training that is being carried out in the classrooms and put into practice outside of them. We are talking about the selection in the prestigious Kimuak catalogue of the short film “Patrimonio”, directed by the second-year film direction student, Aitor Abio.
Without a doubt, a year full of changes and new beginnings to continue growing.
